Who Doesn’t Want a Blessing?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

People like to imagine the Publisher\u2019s Clearing House executives knocking on their door with film crews ready to capture their facial expressions as they learn they will receive mega amounts of monies.\u00a0 Others look forward to lottery numbers tumbling out on ping pong balls to the exact numbers that match the ticket in their hopeful hand.\u00a0Who doesn’t like to have their name drawn out of a bucket to win a simple door prize?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you were given instructions on how to be guaranteed those objectives would happen for you, wouldn’t you would follow them precisely?  You would not add, subtract, or skip a step.  If you had to do it for a number of days, weeks, even a year you would follow them exactly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible is full of instructions on how to receive blessings, how to be blessed, and how to receive gifts we don\u2019t deserve.  Deuteronomy 28:1-2<\/strong> reminds us ‘And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. <\/em>And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you obey the voice of the Lord your God.<\/em>‘ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father God, keep us grounded in Your Word and Spirit that we may know Your voice, obey Your instructions, and love like You love. You are the best blessing of all Jesus and we thank You.  Amen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
